Description
Handing over a business card is a small moment, and it works better with the right holder. This business card holder consists of two pieces in 925 sterling silver: a flat card case for on the go and a card stand for the desk. The two belong together: the card case fits exactly into the card stand, so everything stands on the table as one piece.

Material and workmanship
The card case has a flat build and is made for on the go. Its front bears a shield-shaped ornamental field with acanthus and floral volutes that stand out against a finely chased, matte background. Next to it remains a smooth, polished surface. You slide the cards in through the opening and take them out the same way.
The card stand is an upright holder with a curved edge on a base. At the transition to the base, a braided rope ornament runs around the piece, and an arched cutout sits at the front of the base. Both pieces can also be used separately and are delivered together.
Engraving
The smooth surfaces are made for engraving, on the card stand as well as on the card case. You add the engraving service directly to your cart, as a rule one flat fee per engraved piece. We then agree the wording with you. If a request cannot be carried out on the piece, we refund the fee.
Use and occasions
When everything stays in place, the card case sits in the card stand. When you go to appointments or trade fairs, you take only the card case with you, and in the meantime the card stand holds a few cards directly. The holder makes a fitting gift for people for whom handing over a card is part of everyday life: for a company anniversary, a retirement, Father's Day or as a thank-you to a business partner. Care
Clean both pieces only by hand with warm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth, never in the dishwasher. For slight tarnish, a soft silver polishing cloth without abrasive grains helps. Better not to polish away the patina in the chased indentations, as it gives the relief its depth. Clean the braided rope ornament with a soft brush.
