The Baby Gift Set 925 Sterling Silver Car combines a baby spoon with a small car plaque in blue and orange enamel at the end of the handle with a full-ring rattle, whose outer edge carries a plastic car sculpture – both parts made of 925 sterling silver, both with the same movement motif for a boy.

Material and workmanship

Both parts are made of 925 sterling silver – tasteless, skin-friendly and suitable for daily contact with baby skin and mouth. The spoon features the car plaque as a small enamel work on the top of the handle, complemented by colorful dots along the handle. The rattle is designed as a closed silver ring, on the outside of which the car figure is plastically attached – no opening, no hinged parts, no screws. The set is manufactured by ArgentA, a manufacturer based in Russia.

Care

925 sterling silver develops a slight patina over time – with a soft silver polishing cloth, the shine is restored in a few seconds. The enamel accents are colorfast and tolerate mild dish soap, but do not belong in the dishwasher, as heat and aggressive cleaners can attack the color layer in the long run. Hand washing with lukewarm water is sufficient for both parts.

Frequently Asked Questions

From when can my baby use the rattle?
The full-ring rattle is suitable from birth, as it has no small parts and no openings as a closed shape. The spoon is usually only used when solid food starts at around 5 to 6 months.

Is the car motif also suitable for a girl?

Why can't the rattle be engraved, but the spoon can?
The full-ring shape of the rattle has no flat surface – every spot is rounded or carries the car sculpture. The back of the spoon handle, on the other hand, offers a small smooth area that is suitable for a short engraving.
