Material and workmanship

The deep black enamel is applied by hand and fired at a high temperature, creating a durable, color-stable motif with a rich, uniform tone. The gold-plated accents emphasize the kitten's contours effectively against the dark background. The blue eyes and pink nose provide lively pops of color. Three colorful enamel dots in green, orange, and blue complement the play of colors on the handle, and the spoon bowl is highly polished.

Tactile development concept

The colorful enamel dots along the handle attract the baby's gaze, reinforced by the strong contrast between the deep black enamel and the gold accents. Raised relief dots on both sides of the handle provide a secure grip for small hands and train fine motor skills. Three gentle ridges in the spoon bowl touch the baby's tongue during feeding and stimulate taste sensitivity. The three-dimensional kitten with fine ears and a detailed face invites the baby to explore it by touch.

Occasions and target groups

A 925 silver baby spoon with enamel is among the gifts presented for a birth, baptism, or first birthday. The deep black with gold accents gives this motif a special elegance. Perfect for cat-loving families where the black kitten becomes a reflection of their four-legged family member, or for parents of twins looking for two almost identical yet individual gifts.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Engraving is possible after inspection—traditionally a name, name with date, or name with "from Grandma" or "from Godparent," with a maximum of 2 words or 20 characters on the back of the handle. Additionally, we offer a complimentary, digitally designed SilberVerse card in 15 × 10 cm photo format (landscape).

Care

Clean by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, and dry with a soft cloth. For light tarnish, a silver polishing cloth is sufficient. Do not treat the enamel and gold plating with aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive cleaners. Not dishwasher safe.
