Material and craftsmanship
The stork motif is sculpted in relief from the silver – the stork with wings spread, the baby bundle in its beak, and the sleeping child below. Instead of a colored enamel border, this medallion features a uniformly dark-toned, patinated surface, which gives the relief depth and a subtly elegant character. An embossed lace-like border frames the round medallion. The back is intentionally left smooth – leaving space for your own story.

Clean the medallion by hand with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly. For slight tarnishing, a silver polishing cloth helps to gently buff the raised areas of the relief without brightening the dark-toned recesses. We advise against using a silver dip, so that the patina is preserved.
