Material and Workmanship
Underneath the crystal-clear blue enamel lies a finely engraved geometric guilloché pattern in gilded brass. This pattern refracts light, causing the surface to shift between darker and lighter blue depending on the viewing angle — an effect that is only partially visible in photos and fully unfolds in person. The rectangular image opening is framed by a narrow gold-colored decorative strip that holds the entire frame together.
Use and Occasions
This frame is deliberately compact and suitable for an office desk, a nightstand at home, or as a travel companion that keeps an important photo close at hand. As a gift, it suits weddings, anniversaries, or Christmas — wherever a photo is to be presented in a dignified setting.
Care
Clean the enamel surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth — do not use abrasive cleaners. Only dry-wipe the gilded decorative strip to preserve its shine. Protect from continuous, direct sunlight to maintain the depth of its color.
