Material and Craftsmanship

The body of the creamer bears a dense niello ornament of interwoven floral and geometric patterns that covers the entire belly area. The dark lines and blossoms are created by engraving, filled with black niello inlay, fused, sanded flat, and then precisely polished – like ink in silver. The interior is fully gold-plated – aesthetically pleasing and functional, as the gilding protects milk and coffee cream from silver discoloration. The handle, rim, and ornament lines radiate in warm gold. The harmonious globular shape provides timeless elegance and pleasant pouring characteristics, while the finely crafted swan-neck spout pours drip-free and is clearly distinguished from the matte silver area by a gold-plated edge.
