Description

This 925 sterling silver tea glass holder is the heaviest in the ArgentA series: approx. 156 g of silver that reveal themselves as substance upon the first touch, not merely as a number. A narrow column band adorns the lower part of the outer wall, above which sits an oval cartouche with a leafy frame and shell crown, leaving a smooth surface free in the center: the engraving area that gives this holder its name, The Master.

At a glance

  • Material: 925 sterling silver, solid
  • Holder: H 95 x Ø 68 mm, approx. 156 g silver, oval engraving area centered in a leafy cartouche, handle
  • Tea glass: H 100 x Ø 65 mm, 200 ml capacity, diamond cut
  • Manufacturer: ArgentA, Russia
  • Hallmark: yes
  • Engraving: possible, in the oval engraving area (initials, date, dedication)
  • Delivery: in a gift box with a dark blue velvet inlay included

Material and workmanship

A weight comparison within the ArgentA podstakannik series shows the difference: the Barok model weighs approx. 105 g, the Bronze Horseman and St. George approx. 129 g each, and The Master comes in at approx. 156 g. In practice, this is a noticeable difference—more silver, more weight in the hand. The dimensions (H 95 x Ø 68 mm) are slightly narrower in diameter than the Barok model (Ø 72 mm), giving the ratio of height to diameter a more elongated and upright appearance. In the lower area of the outer wall is a narrow, column-like relief band, above which is an oval cartouche with a leafy frame and a shell shape at the top, in the center of which the area for engraving remains clear. The handle features a fine beaded structure. The corresponding tea glass, H 100 x Ø 65 mm, 200 ml, with a diamond cut, fits exactly into the holder and lets the tea in the glass shine. The holder comes from ArgentA, Russia, and is hallmarked.

Usage and occasions

The name The Master sets a standard for material, execution, and occasion. This tea glass holder is suitable for moments that count: honors, awards, work anniversaries, retirements. For a business honor, an engraved silver object with a name, date, and dedication is a gift that stands on a desk and is used daily, instead of disappearing into a drawer. For retirement after many years with a company, for a promotion, or for a milestone birthday starting at 50, The Master with an engraving is a personal statement in silver. For collectors of Russian tea culture or silver objects, this holder is also a distinct piece within the series due to its higher weight and clear cartouche shape.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

The oval engraving area in the middle of the leafy cartouche is the only intentionally left-blank area on the outer wall, large enough for initials, a date, a name, or a short dedication. Only through a personal engraving does the holder become unique—for exactly one person and exactly this moment. You can simply specify your engraving request in the order field. Upon request, we can also include a personal SilberVerse card in 15 x 10 cm landscape photo format, individually designed, free of charge.

Care

925 sterling silver is easy to care for: hand washing with mild dish soap and warm water is sufficient for daily cleaning; no dishwasher. A soft silver polishing cloth is enough to maintain the shine. Rinse the tea glass separately by hand. Store the holder in a dry place, preferably in the included gift box.

Frequently asked questions

Is the holder made of real silver or is it silver-plated?
The Master tea glass holder is made of solid 925 sterling silver; no silver plating, no coating.

What can I have engraved in the engraving area?
The oval engraving area is large enough for initials, a date, a name, or a short dedication. You can simply enter your desired text in the order field.

What distinguishes The Master from the Barok model?
The Barok model features a dense, all-around relief ornament in which an engraving area is embedded. The Master displays a more restrained column band and a clear cartouche as the sole design element, and is significantly heavier: approx. 156 g compared to approx. 105 g for the Barok model.
