Material and craftsmanship

All 24 pieces are made of 925 sterling silver and feature the Merchant collection's filigree hand-engraved niello on both the front and back. Niello is an ancient refinement technique: a black alloy is fired into fine, pre-cut patterns, forming a chemical-physical bond with the silver — it is not a lacquer that could peel off. The shape and weight distribution of the handles are designed for a comfortable grip, ensuring the cutlery feels balanced even during extended use. The Merchant design is also available without the niello decoration if you prefer the plain silver look — just ask us about it.

Use and occasions

A complete 24-piece cutlery set for six people is ideal for occasions where a full table needs to be newly equipped or complemented — as a wedding gift, for anniversaries, or as a conscious investment for your own table. Care

Clean the set exclusively by hand with warm water and mild dish soap — the dishwasher is unsuitable, as chemicals can cause the silver to tarnish. A special silver polishing cloth is suitable for regular polishing, maintaining the shine without damaging the niello inlay.
