Material and Workmanship
All four pieces are made from 925 sterling silver and feature a niello embellishment on the handle -- dark lines permanently fused with the silver, not a coating. The dessert knife's handle is adorned with the Relief ornament on both sides, while on the dessert spoon, dessert fork, and teaspoon, the embellishment appears on the front. This interplay of a plain back and an embellished front is typical of the Relief line and makes the set a harmonious sight both in use and at rest on the table.
Use and Occasions
The Relief dessert set finds its place where dessert becomes its own little highlight of the table -- at festive afternoons with cake and coffee, elegant birthday dinners, or as a thoughtful gift for hosts who enjoy setting their table with style. The set is also well-suited for anniversaries or as an addition to wedding furnishings, as it remains compact yet bears the signature of an elegant collection.
Care
Clean the set exclusively by hand with a soft cloth and mild detergent to protect the silver and niello embellishment. Dry the pieces immediately afterward to avoid water spots, and store them dry and separate from other metals -- ideally in the included gift box.
