Material and craftsmanship

What distinguishes the Gilded set from single-sided decorated cutlery is the double-sided niello inlay: The floral pattern is incorporated not only on the visible front of the handle but also on the back—a detail usually missing in simpler cutlery. In addition, there is gold plating that adds a warm golden accent to the bright silver tone. Together, both techniques create a dense, high-contrast look that stands out clearly from undecorated standard cutlery.

Care

Clean the Gilded set exclusively by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, then immediately dry it with a soft cloth. The dishwasher is not suitable, as chemicals and heat can attack both the gold plating and the double-sided niello inlay. Store the pieces in the supplied gift box, protected from moisture and scratches.

What does “double-sided niello decoration” mean?
Unlike many pieces of cutlery that only decorate the front of the handle, the Gilded set bears the floral niello pattern on both sides. When you pick up the cutlery and turn it, the same care is evident from both sides.

Is the set dishwasher safe?
No, please clean only by hand so that the gold plating and niello inlay are not damaged by dishwasher chemicals or heat.
