Silver cutlery set Non-Gilded – 4 pieces, 925 silver, Niello

Four pieces made of 925 sterling silver with double-sided niello engraving, completely without gilding: The Non-Gilded 4-piece silver cutlery set consists of a dinner knife, dinner spoon, dinner fork, and teaspoon in a classic silver finish. For those who prefer the cool silver tone over gold accents, this is the sister version of the gilded Gilded set — featuring the same niello technique, but without gold.

Material and craftsmanship

The Non-Gilded set demonstrates the depth that silver can carry without gilding. The floral niello pattern is integrated into both sides of the handle — with the same attention to detail on the front and back, rather than just the visible side. The silver surface is polished to a high shine, while the niello itself remains deliberately matte: this contrast between shiny silver and matte black is the true signature of the technique, not gilding.

Non-Gilded is part of the collection from the SevChern manufactory in Veliky Ustyug, whose niello tradition has been documented since 1683.

Usage and occasions

Whether for wedding gifts, silverware collectors, or as a highlight at dinner parties, the Non-Gilded set is perfect wherever a calm, classic silver aesthetic that does not compete with gold is desired. On a festive table, it appears more understated than gilded sets and is easier to combine with other solid silver tableware. The 4-piece set covers the main course, dessert, and tea for one person.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Personalized engraving with a monogram or company logo is possible upon review, adjusted to an area that does not interfere with the double-sided niello engraving. Upon request, we will include a free 15 × 10 cm landscape format SilberVerse card, individually designed for you.

Care

Clean the set exclusively by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, then immediately rub dry with a soft cloth. The dishwasher is not suitable, as aggressive detergents can damage the niello engraving. Store the items in the included lined gift box, protected from humidity.
