The niello pattern of the Sunflower Black collection displays a dense leaf ornament that stretches across the entire length of the handle. The black niello alloy is worked into the pre-engraved lines by hand, fired, and polished — the contrast between shiny silver and matte niello black gives the pattern its depth. Because every engraving is created by hand, the 24 pieces show small individual differences in the line work, typical for hand-engraved silversmithing.

Care
Clean the set exclusively by hand with warm water and mild detergent and dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth to prevent water spots and tarnishing. The dishwasher is not suitable, as high temperatures and aggressive chemicals can attack the niello decoration. Store the cutlery in the included gift case, protected from humidity and dust. If the silver tarnishes over time, a special silver polishing cloth will restore its original luster.
