Material and craftsmanship
Every line of the floral ornament is individually engraved, filled with niello, and polished — a black inlay that bonds chemically with the base silver and does not flake off. The gold plating is applied extensively to the lid, handles, rim decorations, and fine lines of the ornament, creating a cohesive image of gold, niello black, and matte silver. The two handles with their ball finials provide the bowl with stability and a balanced silhouette. With approx. 370 g, the bowl brings noticeable substance to the table.
Usage and occasions
With a capacity of approx. 400 ml, the bowl is generously sized — for tea ceremonies with guests, festive tables at anniversaries, as a display or collector's piece, or as a prestigious gift for business partners and family.
