925 sterling silver child's bowl with teddy bear rim and ball —...
A bear with a ball on the edge
Description
This bowl features a teddy bear in motion: a small sculptural figure sits on the rim holding a round ball — a bear that is playing instead of just standing still. The 925 silver Bear with Ball children's bowl is thus visibly different from the calmer teddy-rim bowl without a ball: same bear line, different scene, and the shape is also different — deeper and somewhat more compact than its wider, flatter sister bowl.
For a Birth
A bear discovering the world
Playful instead of quiet — a small bear with a ball for a child who is just beginning to discover things for themselves.
View birth gifts925 silver Bear with Ball children's bowl — a figure in motion
The bear holds the ball with both paws, its body slightly turned to the side — unlike the teddy-rim bowl without a ball, where the figure stands calmly and upright. The ball connects the bear to children's play, an everyday image that takes on a new quality when placed on a silver bowl.
Shape and dimensions
With a height of approx. 5 cm and a diameter of approx. 14.5 cm, this bowl is deeper and narrower than the teddy-rim bowl without a ball — more of a small, round bowl than a flat plate, with a weight of approx. 138 g. Entirely high-polish finished, without enamel, crafted by Zaramella.
This bowl and its siblings at the table
Paired with the matching 925 silver Bear with Ball children's plate, the bowl completes a small dinnerware set — both together are also available bundled in the 925 silver Bear with Ball children's tableware set. We do not, however, carry a set without a ball; those looking for the calmer version can individually select the teddy-rim bowl without a ball. You can find other bear motifs in our Teddy Bear Collection.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
Where the bear and ball are not located, the rim remains free for an engraving with a name, date, or a short sentence — to be booked via the engraving service flat rate. We will discuss the details with you beforehand. A SilberVerse card is available upon request: a verse created specifically for the occasion, 15 × 10 cm in size, at no extra cost.
Care
For the bowl, lukewarm water with a splash of mild dish soap is sufficient; afterwards, wipe dry thoroughly. A silver polishing cloth will make the bear and ball shine again — apply it with a light touch so that the details retain their depth. It does not belong in the dishwasher.
Frequently asked questions about the Bear with Ball children's bowl
How does this bowl differ from the teddy-rim bowl without a ball?
With this bowl, the figure is in motion, holding a ball and turning its body to the side; the other bowl features a calmly standing bear without any props. The dimensions also differ: this bowl is deeper and narrower.
Can the bowl be engraved?
Yes, the free part of the rim offers space for an engraving, which can be implemented via the engraving service flat rate.
Is the bowl also available in a set with a plate?
Yes, our 925 silver Bear with Ball children's tableware set combines exactly this bowl with the corresponding plate.
Is there a comparable set without a ball?
