Material and craftsmanship
The plate is made of solid 925 sterling silver with 92.5% fine silver. A fine, floral-patterned niello ornamental band runs along the edge, which has been incorporated into the silver with the utmost care. This edge decoration is understated: not a wide, dominant zone, but a narrow, delicate band that draws the eye to the large, smooth central surface of the plate.
The plate is crafted in Russia — a country where niello decoration and Russian silversmithing have gone hand in hand for centuries. Each piece is inspected before shipping.
Usage and occasions
Whether for weddings, anniversaries, family celebrations, or elegant dinners — this charger plate brings a calm, high-quality accent to any laid table. As a gift for a silver wedding anniversary, a company jubilee, or for collectors of silverware, it is a stylish choice. If you are looking for more of an everyday serving piece, we recommend a simpler tray from our collection; for a special table, this charger plate is the perfect choice.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
Engraving is possible upon review — initials, a date, or a short dedication can be arranged individually. This turns the charger plate into a personal piece that lasts beyond a single occasion. Additionally, you can have a SilberVerse card designed: 15 × 10 cm in landscape format, free of charge, individually written for your gift.
Care
Clean the plate by hand with a soft cloth and, if necessary, a silver polishing cloth. Wipe dry after use and store in a dry place. Do not use a dishwasher or aggressive cleaning agents. Regarding contact with food: the plate should not remain in prolonged contact with highly acidic or salty foods, as these can attack the silver.
