Children's cutlery with a yellow-orange enamel star

On the handle plate of the spoon and fork sits the large star in yellow-orange enamel, with small white ornaments inside. Above it is a gold-plated crown. Further down the handle follow a larger and a smaller star, a tiny magenta-red star and small gold-plated dots. This one tiny star is the only red on the piece.

The knife has a slim silver handle. At its head sits a yellow-orange star, and small yellow stars run along the handle.

The gold-plated crown links the line, as it is the mark of ArgentA's Royal Childhood. The enamel and gold plating provide the colour; the silver itself is polished by hand to a high shine until the bowl reflects like a mirror.

Occasion: christening, birth or the first tooth

Parents, grandparents and godparents choose this children's cutlery for the christening day, a birth or the first tooth. With a name on the back, it becomes a personal gift. If you are a godparent still looking for ideas, read the article What does a godparent give for a christening?

Matching individual pieces are also available: the children's spoon with yellow-red stars, the children's fork with yellow-red stars, the set of spoon and fork and the children's cup with handle.

Engraving on the spoon, fork and knife

Each of the three pieces can be engraved on the back with up to 20 characters. The spoon carries the text on the back of the handle, as do the fork and knife on the back of their handles. On the front, the enamel and gold plating remain untouched.

Add the engraving service to your cart together with the item. When you pay, your wording goes into the order note at checkout. We check after your purchase whether it can be carried out as written. If something is not possible, we refund the flat fee.

A SilberVerse is available free of charge on request: a verse for the child, created individually for the occasion and name. The photo card measures 15 × 10 cm.

Caring for silver with enamel and gold plating

Wash the pieces briefly in lukewarm water and rub them dry with a soft cloth. Do not scour the enamel or the gold plating. Use a silver polishing cloth only on the polished silver surfaces and leave out the stars and the crown.

Questions about the children's cutlery with enamel star

When do you give children's cutlery in silver?
Usually for the christening day, a birth or the first birthday. Silver lasts a long time, and with an engraving the cutlery carries the child's name.

How does the enamel version differ from the partially gold-plated one without enamel?
Here, the stars have yellow-orange enamel with one red star. On the children's cutlery with golden stars, the silver stays unpainted and only the crown and stars are gold-plated.

Do I need to order engraving separately for each piece?
Yes, each engraved piece gets its own engraving service in the cart. If you would like something on the spoon, fork and knife, add it three times.

Can silver cutlery with enamel go in the dishwasher?
No. The heat in the machine and its detergents attack the enamel and the gold plating. A quick rinse and thorough drying are all it needs.
