Material and craftsmanship

The children's cup features a bear bas-relief on its belly, and the handle is simply crafted and polished. The birth spoon is straight rather than curved — it is not intended for daily feeding but designed as a keepsake. Small fields are recessed into the stem where the child's birth date, weight, and height can be recorded, complemented by a movable dial at the end of the stem that can be set to the time of birth. The set is manufactured by Zaramella Argenti in Padua, an Italian manufacturer with a tradition since 1948.
