Material and craftsmanship

The boy figure is fully sculpted—clothing folds, buttons, and facial features are individually crafted and mirror-polished. Inside the figure, small silver beads move when shaken. Crafted by the Italian silver manufacturer Zaramella Argenti from Padova.

Use and everyday life

The rattle is intended for holding and shaking. The handle with its longitudinal grooves provides extra grip for small, often damp hands. The rattle is shaken only under parental supervision. The details of the figure—buttons, folds, hair—offer more tactile variety than a simple spherical shape. The standing posture of the little boy is a deliberate choice: he does not appear as a helpless infant, but as a small person with his own character—a symbol of vigor and the beginning of a new life. For parents expecting a son or who have just had one, the figure carries a quiet message: soon he will stand just like this—curious and ready for the world.

Occasions and target groups

This baby rattle is suitable as a gift for the birth of a boy, a christening gift, or a godparent gift, as well as a small present for a baby shower. Even for a first birthday, when the little boy might actually be taking his first steps, the standing figure makes for a fitting image. Parents, grandparents, and godparents who are consciously looking for a gift with a boy motif will find here a piece that begins at birth and can later be passed on.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Even without an engraving option, this baby rattle can be personalized: Upon request, we add a free SilberVerse card: a verse created with the help of AI from your details about the occasion, recipient, and sender, printed as a 15 × 10 cm photo card in landscape format, in a standard frame. Whether it is a welcome greeting for a birth or a blessing for a christening: the card turns the gift into a personal message.

Care

Clean the baby rattle after use with warm water and mild dish soap and dry it with a soft cloth. The grooves of the ribbon-adorned handle can be carefully reached with a soft brush. For light tarnish, a silver polishing cloth is sufficient. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive scrubs, and it is not dishwasher safe. The included gift box is suitable for storage.
