The boy is made as a compact silver figure: cap, strands of hair at the forehead, hands in front of the tummy, boots beneath. At the top a small silver loop projects from the bow, which is tied from white satin and falls downwards in two ends. The cradle medal measures approx. 12 cm and weighs approx. 13 g, although the silver weight varies slightly from piece to piece.
