At the top of the handle sits a coat of arms in red enamel. The crown stands at the top of the red field, and in the middle lies a shield whose inner field stays silver. Below the head, the handle is smooth and highly polished.
Red enamel, gold-plated crown and ribbons
The crown and the ribbons at the sides are gold-plated and stand out against the red. The crown stands for ArgentA's Royal Childhood line. The prince cutlery is made the same way, there in blue.
How enamel and polish come together
Beneath the red lies a wave pattern called guilloché; this guilloché enamel gives the coat of arms a shimmering play of light.
Finally comes the hand polishing: the handle and bowl receive their smooth shine, next to which the coat of arms glows.
