Christening Set 925 Silver Frog — Grooved Cup and Spoon with Frog, Engravable

A frog sits at the end of the spoon handle, and next to it stands a grooved cup: this christening gift in 925 silver combines a figure with a band of grooves. The cup and spoon go into the gift box together and can be engraved.

Cup with grooves, spoon with frog

In its lower third, the cup shows several grooves that run around the entire wall. Above them, the surface stays smoothly polished. Small spirals decorate the handle, and its upper arch carries a fine leaf relief.

On the spoon handle, the frog sits as a silver figure. It smiles and spreads its hands. Below it, a wave line runs down the handle. The bowl is smooth.

From fairy tale to first porridge

In the fairy tale of the Frog Prince, the frog becomes a prince; in nature, the tadpole becomes a frog. Transformation is the theme many people associate with this animal. On the spoon, it sits as a small figure and keeps company with the first spoonfuls of porridge.

Name on the handle, text on the cup

The frog handle carries a name of up to 12 characters on its back. The cup offers the smooth wall above the grooves or its base. Exactly where the text goes, we decide with you after your order.

For each engraving request, you select the engraving service once per piece. What should go on the silver, you enter as the “order note at checkout”. We will answer any questions after your purchase. If a request cannot be realised technically, you will get the money for the flat fee back.

Alongside the engraving, a verse fits well, created individually for the occasion and the name. The SilberVerse card comes as a 15 × 10 cm photo card, on request and at no cost.

Something special for godparents and grandparents

Godparents and grandparents will find two pieces here that come to the table together and later find their place on the shelf.

You will find the counterpart with a heart with flowers on the spoon in the heart set.

Questions about godparent gifts and care

What special gift can a godparent give for a christening?
Something that lasts and carries a name. Silver does both. The guide to the godparent's gift gathers more ideas.

How do I clean a silver cup?
Wash the cup and spoon by hand with mild washing-up liquid and rub both dry straight away with a soft cloth. The dishwasher is off limits. Home remedies and abrasive additives can damage the polished surface.

Is the frog spoon also available on its own?
Yes, as the baby spoon with frog. Together with a rattle, it comes in the set with frog spoon and rattle.
