Material and craftsmanship
The spirally worked handle made of solid silver is a classic motif of sophisticated silversmithing and is shaped, smoothed, and polished step by step until the twist, balance, and feel are perfectly aligned. The gold-plated handle sections provide a warm accent against the cool clarity of the silver. At the end of the handle sits the characteristic niello inlay: dark lines, finely applied into the engraving and permanently fused with the silver—no coating and no lacquer. The slightly leaf-shaped blade made of solid silver is smoothly polished and glides effortlessly through butter and fine spreads. The well-balanced weight between blade and handle ensures comfortable handling while serving.

Clean by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, avoid scouring agents and rough sponges, and then dry with a soft cloth. Gold-plated and niello surfaces should only be gently polished with a soft cloth.
