The Pot in the Floralis Service

550 ml — that's four to five cups, a service for two to four people without refilling. The teapot is the starting point of the Floralis collection. You order what you need: coffee pot (800 ml), milk jug (220 ml), sugar bowl (400 ml), cups. Everything bears the same floral niello ornament on matte silver. The service is not a fixed set — it's a modular system.

Upon request, we can put together the ensemble for any number of people — for 2, 4, 6 or more people. Individual items can be reordered at any time.

The Niello Ornament — Fused, Not Applied

The floral band on the body of this pot — blossoms, tendrils, leaves in the plant style of the Veliky Ustyug school — was hand-engraved into the silver. Then niello: a black alloy, fused into the depressions, chemically bonded with the silver. No application, no layer, no lacquer. What is created is permanent — in thirty years, the same black will sit on the same silver.

SevChern, founded in 1933, is the only active manufacturer worldwide that produces this craft in Veliky Ustyug.

Care: Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild dish soap — no dishwasher, no silver dip. The niello ornament is permanently fused; normal cleaning does not harm it. Freshen the matted surface with a soft silver polishing cloth. Store in the gift box.

The teapot (550 ml) is bulging and squat — classic teapot shape, short spout. The coffee pot (800 ml, SW10181) is slender and tall, long spout. Both bear the same niello ornament and look good together on the table.

How many people does the pot serve?
550 ml for four to five cups of 105–140 ml each — a service for 2–4 people. For larger gatherings, the pot can be refilled. Upon request, we can put together a complete Floralis ensemble for any number of people.

Can I order only the teapot, without the complete service?
Yes — the teapot can be ordered individually. The Floralis service is modular: you order what you need and expand when you want.

How long does production take?
