The delicate floral pattern on the frame is not a print or a sticker. It's an embossing: The pattern is pressed into the silver surface, creating a relief. Depending on the light, the blossoms cast delicate shadows — the surface appears three-dimensional, interacting with the light. The name Florenz is no coincidence: The pattern draws on Florentine ornamentation, which has been characteristic of silversmithing since the Renaissance.
