Baby Gift Set 925 Silver – Horse with Apples, Orange, Not Engravable

Choosing a gift before the birth that isn't set on blue or pink, yet still has color and character — that is exactly what this set is made for. A baby spoon with a little horse on the handle, carrying colorful apples in enamel, meets a full-ring rattle with a flower plaque, at whose center sits a small rocking-horse relief with hearts. Both pieces are made of 925 sterling silver, decorated with cream-white satin bows and delivered in the gray-and-white DoDo gift box with a rainbow motif.

Material and Craftsmanship

The spoon and rattle are made of solid 925 sterling silver. The little horse on the spoon handle has an orange mane and colorful apples in red, yellow and green — a play of colors that invites touching and recognizing. The full-ring rattle is worked as a closed form without an opening; on its side sits a small flower plaque with a finely modeled rocking-horse relief. Both the spoon and the full-ring rattle are made by the Russian silver manufactory ArgentA; we put them together for this set. If you would prefer a different rattle with the horse spoon, just drop us a line telling us which one.

Occasions and Recipients

The horse motif is gender-neutral, which makes it especially suitable for gifts before the birth, when the baby's sex is not yet known or is deliberately meant to play no role. For a christening it is a classic godparent gift, presenting the traditional combination of spoon and rattle in a warm, playful palette. This variant also works well as a gift from grandparents to a new grandchild or as a second set for twins of mixed sex.

Engraving and SilberVerse Card

This set cannot be engraved: the spoon handle carries an embossed relief on the back as well, and the full-ring rattle is worked as a closed form with a plaque and offers no flat surface. Instead, the set gets its personal touch in another way: on request, we include a SilberVerse card free of charge — a verse created with the help of AI from your details, printed as a 15 × 10 cm photo card in landscape format, in a standard frame.

Care

Clean the spoon and rattle by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry them with a soft cloth. On the polished silver surfaces, an occasional wipe with a silver polishing cloth is enough to remove light patina. Treat the colored accents on the spoon and the relief on the rattle plaque gently and avoid abrasive cleaners. Neither piece is dishwasher-safe. The original DoDo box is the best place to store them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the set equally suitable for boys and girls?
Yes. The little horse is a gender-neutral animal motif without classic color coding. That makes the set a safe choice when the baby's sex is still unknown.

From what age is the full-ring rattle suitable?
From birth. The closed ring shape is easy to grasp and shake — use the rattle only under supervision.

What does the little horse on the rattle plaque stand for?
The horse is one of the oldest symbols of movement — new beginnings and energy. In a baby gift it reads more gently: the first stretch, the first grasp, the first steps of their own still to come.

Can the set be engraved?
No. The back of the spoon handle also carries an embossed relief, and the full-ring rattle is a closed ring without a free surface. Instead, the set becomes personal through the SilberVerse card, which we include free of charge on request.
