Material and craftsmanship
The stork motif is plastically worked out of the silver – the stork with spread wings, the baby bundle in its beak, and the sleeping child below. A lace border in delicate pink enamel frames the round medallion and gives the medal its childlike, playful touch. A cream-colored satin ribbon at the top makes the piece ready to touch and hang. The back is intentionally left smooth – here is space for your own story.
