925 Silver Mischka Gift Set — Cup, Spoon, Plate

If you don't just want to give a single cup as a gift, but rather a complete little silver tableware composition, this three-piece Mischka set is exactly what you are looking for: a cup with a bear relief, a spoon with a bear figurine, and a round plate with two curved handles. All three pieces are made of 925 sterling silver, polished, without enamel, and presented in the gold-orange gift box of the Royal Childhood line.

Three pieces, one bear

The cup features the bear as a sculptural relief on its side, just like the mug from the two-piece Mischka set. The spoon shows the same seated bear figurine at the end of the handle with a heart-shaped area below it. The third piece is a round plate with a raised edge and two handles made of curved volutes, smoothly polished and without its own bear motif — it frames the other two pieces instead of competing with them.

Material and craftsmanship

All three pieces are made of solid, high-polish 925 sterling silver, entirely without colored enamel or gilding — the effect is created solely by the form, the polish, and the sculpturally crafted bear figurine. The plate with its two volute handles and the curved handles of the cup and spoon connect the three pieces into a stylistically unified series. The set is manufactured by the ArgentA workshop as part of the Royal Childhood line.

The Mischka family in comparison

Within the Mischka family, this set forms the most extensive collection. If you prefer to stick with two pieces, you can find the combination of cup and spoon in the two-piece set with bear cup or, with a simple grooved cup, in the set without the bear cup. If you would prefer a bear with color and a crown instead of pure silver, it is worth looking at the related Honey Bear line, specifically the Honey Bear children's spoon.

Occasions and target groups

The bear works in a gender-neutral way and is therefore particularly suitable if the gender of the godchild is not yet known or is intentionally meant to be irrelevant. As a christening gift, the set has a quality of fine silverware that lasts beyond the first few years of life, such as for family celebrations or the first day of school. This version also fits well as a second or third gift for a godchild if other motifs from the line have already been given.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

With a three-piece set, it is worth considering which piece would best carry the engraving — ArgentA clarifies this for the cup, spoon, and plate individually. It is booked via the engraving service flat rate; we will then determine the text and surface together. If you would prefer to pass on the set without an inscription, you can instead request the SilberVerse card free of charge, which is 15 × 10 cm and written specifically for this occasion.

Care

925 silver will tarnish slightly over time — this is normal and not a sign of damage. It is best to wash the cup, spoon, and plate by hand with warm water and a mild detergent, and then dry all three pieces with a soft cloth. No dishwasher, no aggressive cleaners. Once or twice a year, a silver polishing cloth is enough to maintain the shine. It is best to store the set in the included gift box.

Frequently asked questions about the three-piece Mischka set

Is the third piece a plate or a saucer?
It is a round plate with a raised edge and two handles — larger than a standard saucer and intended as an independent piece of silverware.

Is the set truly gender-neutral?
Yes. The bear is not specific to boys or girls.

Can I use just individual pieces?
The set is intended as a composition, but each piece works on its own — the cup as a drinking vessel, the spoon as a feeding utensil, the plate as a serving piece.

Do all three pieces arrive together in one box?
Yes, the cup, spoon, and plate are packed together in the gold-orange Royal Childhood gift box.
