925 Sterling Silver Mischka Gift Set — Cup + Spoon with Bear Figure

The Mischka family features the children's cup in two versions: with a bear relief on the side — or, as in this set, completely without a bear figure. Instead, the cup features fine, encircling grooves along the bottom edge, simple and serene. The bear is left entirely to the spoon: at the end of the handle sits a small, fully sculptural bear figure, with a heart-shaped field directly beneath it. Both pieces are crafted from solid 925 sterling silver, completely without colored enamel or gold plating.

The cup: grooved instead of bear motif

Unlike its sibling cup from the same family, this cup shows no bear on the wall. Instead, several fine, horizontal grooves run around the vessel at the bottom edge, complemented by a curved handle. This results in a calmer appearance, where the little bear on the spoon remains the only figurative detail in the set.

The spoon: bear figure and heart field

At the top end of the handle sits a small, fully sculpted bear figure. Below it is a heart, clearly shaped as an independent field in the handle — after which the handle continues to the round bowl. This spoon is the same one found in the other Mischka sets — the family unites its pieces through exactly this one motif.

The Mischka family in comparison

Those who prefer to see the bear on the cup as well can find it in the Gift Set Cup + Spoon with a bear relief on both pieces. For a third element from the same line, a plate, there is the three-piece set. If you prefer color and a small crown with the bear, you will find what you are looking for in the related Honey Bear line, for example with the Honey Bear children's spoon.

Occasions and target groups

This set is equally suitable for girls and boys, whether for birth, baptism, or a first birthday. Godparents, grandparents, and family friends love choosing it when looking for a quiet, gender-neutral option without colored accents. It also serves as a perfect complement to an existing baby spoon.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

We check on the piece for you whether the cup or spoon is suitable for an engraving. You can add the requested text via the engraving service flat rate, and it will then be discussed with you personally. Those who prefer to give a gift without any engraving can receive the SilberVerse card free of charge upon request: a poem in 15 × 10 cm format, written specifically for the child's name and occasion.

Care

For the cup and spoon, lukewarm water with a little mild dish soap is sufficient; afterwards, rub dry by hand. You should avoid the dishwasher, as heat and aggressive detergents can affect the polish. Occasionally, a soft silver polishing cloth will bring back the shine, even in the grooves and the heart field.

Frequently asked questions about the Mischka gift set with grooved cup

Why does this cup not have a bear like the other one in the set?
The Mischka family offers the cup in two variants: with a bear relief or, as here, simply grooved. In this set, the bear is carried by the spoon alone.

Can the set be engraved?
We check on the piece for you if an engraving is possible — enamel or gold plating are not involved here anyway, as both pieces are made entirely of silver.

Which gender is this set suitable for?
For both equally — the bear is considered one of the few gender-neutral baptism and birth motifs.

Is the spoon also available without the cup?
Yes, we also carry this exact bear-heart spoon as a standalone baby spoon in our range.
