The Mischka family features the children's cup in two versions: with a bear relief on the side — or, as in this set, completely without a bear figure. Instead, the cup features fine, encircling grooves along the bottom edge, simple and serene. The bear is left entirely to the spoon: at the end of the handle sits a small, fully sculptural bear figure, with a heart-shaped field directly beneath it. Both pieces are crafted from solid 925 sterling silver, completely without colored enamel or gold plating.

The cup: grooved instead of bear motif

Unlike its sibling cup from the same family, this cup shows no bear on the wall. Instead, several fine, horizontal grooves run around the vessel at the bottom edge, complemented by a curved handle. This results in a calmer appearance, where the little bear on the spoon remains the only figurative detail in the set.

The spoon: bear figure and heart field

At the top end of the handle sits a small, fully sculpted bear figure. Below it is a heart, clearly shaped as an independent field in the handle — after which the handle continues to the round bowl. This spoon is the same one found in the other Mischka sets — the family unites its pieces through exactly this one motif.

For the cup and spoon, lukewarm water with a little mild dish soap is sufficient; afterwards, rub dry by hand. You should avoid the dishwasher, as heat and aggressive detergents can affect the polish. Occasionally, a soft silver polishing cloth will bring back the shine, even in the grooves and the heart field.
