A 925 sterling silver baby rattle with a three-dimensional lion's head as the rattle head, on a completely smooth, teardrop-shaped handle. The smooth handle is suitable for a personal engraving — a gift for a birth or baptism that becomes a lasting unique item with a name or date.

Material and Workmanship

The lion's head is crafted as a fully plastic figure, with a flower-like mane, a heart-shaped face, and two small paws peeking out from under the head. Small silver balls inside create the rattling sound. The handle below is completely smooth and highly polished, without texture or ornament, tapering to an elegant teardrop shape. A small eyelet ring at the transition between the head and the handle allows a ribbon to be attached. Manufactured by the Italian silver manufactory Zaramella Argenti.
