Material and Workmanship

The spherical rattle head features a double heart relief: The outer heart is smooth and raised, the inner heart is filled with a hammered texture, surrounded by a finely structured surface. The stem is covered along its entire length with small, three-dimensional floral rosettes. Inside the sphere are silver beads that produce a rich, rounded clatter when shaken. Crafted by the Italian silver manufacturer Zaramella Argenti.
