Material and craftsmanship
Astra Non-Niello belongs to the Astra family and shares the same basic floral pattern with Astra Black and Astra Gold – curved floral vines extending along the handle. The difference lies in the finishing: while other variants in the collection use a black niello inlay to create contrast, the ornament here remains open and entirely golden. The engraving is finely worked into the silver and subsequently gold-plated – the result is a calmer, uniformly golden appearance that brings timeless elegance to the table.
Use and occasions
This dessert fork is perfectly suited as a gift for weddings, anniversaries, or for anyone who collects and appreciates fine silverware. With a length of approx. 165 mm and a weight of approx. 36.5 g, it is well-balanced in the hand. As part of the Astra family, it combines wonderfully with Astra Gold or Astra Black – creating an interplay of gold and black-gold on the set table that highlights the floral ornamentation of the entire collection.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
The surface on the handle is limited by the ornament – please inquire before ordering whether and where an additional engraving is possible. As a personal gesture, we additionally recommend our SilberVerse card: an individually designed card in 15 × 10 cm photo format, free of charge, tailored to the occasion and recipient.
Care
Clean the fork with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid the dishwasher and abrasive cleaners so that the gold plating retains its luster permanently. If the silver under the gold plating tarnishes slightly, a soft polishing cloth will help.
