Material and craftsmanship
The rectangular frame is made of silver-colored, rhodium-plated brass with a violet guilloché enamel surface: a fine, repeating ornament was engraved into the metal before multiple layers of transparent enamel were applied. Depending on the incidence of light, the pattern shimmers with varying intensity through the enamel layer. At the bottom right sits a small guardian angel in silver look—praying, delicate, protective. The oval viewing window inside is equipped with genuine jeweler's glass; the back is made of wood and also offers space for a personal engraving.
Use and occasions
This frame is intended as a gift for a baptism or the birth of a girl—a moment that it captures permanently and with dignity. In many cultures, the guardian angel stands for care and guidance through life, a motif that holds special significance for a baptism in particular. As a gift from godparents, grandparents, or family friends, this small picture frame will find a permanent place in the nursery or on a bedside table.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
The wooden back offers space for a personal engraving—a name, a baptism date, or a short baptismal verse. Upon request, we will also include a personal SilberVerse card in photo format (15 × 10 cm landscape) at no extra cost—individually designed to suit the occasion.
Care
The surface is best cleaned with a dry, soft cloth. Aggressive cleaning agents should be avoided. A special silver polishing cloth is suitable for the silver-colored details. The jeweler's glass used is delicate and should not be dropped or pressed firmly.
