Material and craftsmanship

The slender, tall bowl of this goblet features dense floral ornamentation that extends across almost the entire surface: blossoms and vines in fine engraving, filled with black niello and framed by golden zones on the rim and base. The baluster stem, with its characteristic golden sphere and silver shoulder, gives the goblet a clear, upright silhouette that appears slimmer than the broader chalices in this line. Crafted from 925 sterling silver and refined with niello and gilding, this goblet exhibits the same Zaren-Fest aesthetic as its more bulbous sister model — only in a slimmer, taller form.

Usage and occasions

With a capacity of approx. 340 ml, this goblet offers plenty of room for wine, while its slender shape also makes it interesting for aperitifs and digestifs. On a festive table, at a private dinner, or in a representative salon, the tall, calm silhouette looks elegant without being obtrusive. For collectors of high-quality silver objects, this goblet is a fitting addition to an existing Zaren-Fest piece; for hosts, it is an eye-catcher on the set table; and as a business or corporate gift, it is an object that lasts.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Engraving is possible upon review — we will coordinate with the manufacturer to determine a location where personalization is compatible with the niello ornamentation. If you choose an engraving, we can include a 15 × 10 cm landscape SilberVerse card upon request — a digitally customized card featuring the occasion, recipient, and message, each one a unique, complimentary piece.

Care

Clean silver and gilding exclusively by hand — using lukewarm water, a mild dish soap, and a soft cloth. Avoid aggressive cleaners and abrasive scouring agents, as they can damage the gilded surfaces. A high-quality silver polishing cloth will help maintain the shine over the long term. With regular polishing, the contrasts between the silver, gold, and niello black will deepen over time.

Frequently asked questions

Can the wine goblet be engraved?
Yes, after review. The engraving is coordinated with the manufacturer to ensure it complements the niello design.

What is the goblet intended for?
For drinks; the inner surface is gilded.

How does this goblet differ from the more bulbous Zaren-Fest stemmed glass?
Both share the same material, niello technique, and gilding. At Ø 52 mm × H 156 mm, this goblet is slimmer and taller, while the other model, at Ø 83 mm × H 203 mm, is more bulbous and has a larger volume.
