Coffee pot 925 silver Niello 500 ml

A coffee pot looks different from a teapot—and that is no coincidence. Where a teapot is bulbous and squat, a coffee pot is slender and upright, with a long, elegant spout instead of a short, curved one. This silhouette stems from the European coffee tradition of the 18th century. Presented here in 925 silver, featuring a niello floral ornament on matte silver that wraps entirely around the slender body.

Material and craftsmanship

The larger surface area of the coffee pot gives the niello ornament more room. The floral band—blossoms, vines, and leaves in a botanical style—runs completely around the slender body. The narrow lid features its own ornamental band, with a geometric serrated border marking the transition between the lid and the body. Every line of this pattern is engraved by hand into the silver, then filled with niello: fused, fired, and polished back. The result is a chemical-physical bond with the base silver, not a lacquer or coating that will peel off over time. This coffee pot belongs to a collection that is also available as a teapot (450 ml, wide and squat)—both bear the same niello ornament and match the same cups and creamer.

Use and occasions

500 ml is enough for four to five cups—for a coffee service at the table, or for the moment after dinner. The long spout provides control when pouring, and the curved handle fits securely in the hand. As a wedding gift, a silver coffee pot is a piece that a couple will use for decades—not for every day, but for the evenings that count. Perfect for a milestone birthday, for someone who takes coffee seriously and understands silver, or as a corporate gift of a caliber that requires no further explanation.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

The base of the pot offers space for a personal engraving—a date, initials, or a short phrase. Please provide your engraving request when placing your order. Upon request, we can include a personal SilberVerse card in photo format (15 × 10 cm landscape)—custom-designed to suit the occasion, free of charge.

Care

Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild dish soap. Do not use a dishwasher; do not use silver dip baths. The niello band is permanently fused and will not be harmed by normal cleaning. Clean the lid separately and use a soft silver polishing cloth to refresh the matte surface. Store in the provided gift case.
