This solid 925 silver sugar bowl features a floral niello band of blossoms, vines, and leaves and is part of the Floralis collection. A domed lid with a small knob completes the bowl — silver and niello, without gilding, without distraction.

Material and craftsmanship

Niello is not a coating, but a black inlay that is fused into the engraved lines, sanded flush, and polished — like ink in silver. What is created cannot be detached, washed off, or polished away. The engravers pull every line into the silver with a burin — blossoms, vines, and leaves in the botanical style cultivated in the niello tradition of Veliky Ustyug. The sugar bowl is crafted by SevChern, a workshop that has been practicing this niello technique for many decades.

Use and occasions

In the Floralis tea service, the sugar bowl belongs at the center of the table — it is not passed around; it stands, and everyone helps themselves. The same floral niello ornament also adorns the collection's teapot (550 ml), coffee pot (800 ml), and creamer (220 ml). The service can be individually composed upon request — for 2, 4, 6, or more people, individually or as a set. A silver sugar bowl is a suitable wedding gift that a couple will use for decades, for a golden wedding anniversary, a milestone birthday, or as a corporate gift that requires no further explanation. It comes in a gift box.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Upon review, a personal engraving on the bottom of the sugar bowl is possible — a date, initials, or a sentence. Upon request, we will include a personal SilberVerse card in photo format (15 × 10 cm landscape) — individually designed, matching the occasion, and free of charge.

Care

Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild dish soap — no dishwasher, no silver dip. The niello ornament is permanently fused; normal cleaning does not harm it. Refresh the matte surface with a soft silver polishing cloth. Store in the gift box.
