Leo Zodiac Dessert Cutlery: Mane, Gold and Niello
The lion is hand-engraved into the bowl, gold-plated, and framed by a golden edge; the mane is part of the design. The fork is fully gold-plated and displays the lion symbol on a shield beneath the tines. The ends of the handles are decorated with a niello blossom.
The Lion: Fire sign in high summer
Leo applies from July 23rd to August 23rd and belongs to the element of fire. Legend sees it as the Nemean Lion, which Hercules defeated and which subsequently became a constellation in the sky.
August birthdays and the festive table
In high summer, guests arrive and the cake table is set: an occasion for a birthday gift made of silver. At Christmas, the gold glimmers in the candlelight, and for milestone birthdays, the recipient receives a keepsake to treasure.
Niello from Veliky Ustyug and care instructions
Niello means: engraving lines in silver, melting in a black compound, and polishing. SevChern continues this tradition from Veliky Ustyug. Care here means hand washing.
Frequently asked questions about the Leo dessert cutlery
What zodiac sign are you on August 10th?
Leo. The period runs from July 23rd to August 23rd.
Can I have the cutlery engraved with a name?
No, there is no space available for names or dates because the design, symbol, and niello cover the pieces. Instead, there is a free SilberVerse card for a personal dedication.
Can the spoon and fork be ordered separately?
Yes, as a Leo dessert spoon or Leo dessert fork.
How do I keep the gold plating and niello in good condition?
Wash the cutlery by hand, dry it immediately, and avoid silver baths. The guide to the niello technique explains why.
Is the cutlery also suitable as a Christmas gift for a Leo?
Yes, those born in the summer appreciate the personal connection in December. Ideas for this can be found under silver Christmas gifts.
