Scorpio dessert cutlery: Stinger, gold, and niello
A craftsman has hand-engraved the scorpion with its raised stinger into the bowl of the spoon; gold makes it stand out from the silver. The fully gold-plated fork displays its symbol on a shield beneath the tines. Both handle ends feature a flower with a niello inlay.
The Scorpio: Water sign in November
Running from October 24 to November 22, it belongs to the water element. In Greek mythology, the scorpion stings the hunter Orion; both constellations face each other in the sky.
Birthdays at the end of October and in November
Anyone celebrating around October 31 or in mid-November receives a birthday gift with this cutlery that suits the gray autumn. At Christmas, it shows you know their sign, and for an anniversary, it remains a lasting household item.
Niello: Technique from Veliky Ustyug and care
The cutlery is created by the SevChern manufactory. Engraved lines are filled with niello, fused in fire, and polished. Please wash by hand only.
Frequently asked questions about the Scorpio dessert cutlery
What is the zodiac sign for October 31 and November 11?
Both dates fall under the sign of Scorpio, which lasts from October 24 to November 22.

How do I care for gold-plated niello silver in everyday life?
Wash by hand, dry immediately, and avoid the dishwasher and silver dip baths. You can find more about the technique in our niello guide.
Is the cutlery suitable as a Christmas gift?
