Libra zodiac dessert cutlery: balance scale and fork emblem
The balance scale with two pans is hand-engraved into the bowl and gold-plated. As the only sign of the zodiac, Libra depicts an object rather than a living creature. The fork is fully gold-plated, the symbol is positioned on its head, and niello adorns the blossoms on the handles.
Libra: Air sign in October
The Libra sign is in effect from September 24th to October 23rd, and its element is air. In Roman tradition, it is the scales of justice and balance.
October birthday, autumn table, anniversary
Things get cozy indoors in October, and a birthday gift for coffee time comes at just the right moment. At Christmas, guests will be delighted with the spoon and fork, and the cutlery is equally suitable for a silver wedding anniversary.
Niello from Veliky Ustyug, care in short
At SevChern, the niello is fused into the lines, as has long been common in Veliky Ustyug, and remains permanent. Please wash the cutlery by hand.
Frequently asked questions about the Libra dessert cutlery
What zodiac sign are you on October 3rd?
Libra. The period runs from September 24th to October 23rd.
Can we have names or dates engraved?
This is not possible, as the Libra image, symbol, and niello fill the surfaces and the handle remains narrow. We include a free SilberVerse card for dedications.
Are the two pieces also available individually?
Of course: Libra dessert spoon and Libra dessert fork are available separately.
How do I care for the cutlery so that the gold and niello remain?
Hand wash, dry promptly, no dishwasher and no silver dip. Further information can be found in our guide to the niello technique.
Does the cutlery suit a silver wedding anniversary?
Yes, two pieces represent two people. You can find more silver for celebrations among the anniversary gifts.
