Material and craftsmanship
The characteristic Tsar ornaments are created in several steps: the surface is engraved, inlaid with niello, polished, and then partially gilded. This combination gives the set its unmistakable depth — a dark shimmer interspersed with precise golden accents. Niello is not a coating, but a black inlay that is fused into the engraved lines, ground flush, and polished – like ink in silver; it does not fade over time, but rather gains contrast through polishing.
Usage and occasions
This set is suitable for festive occasions: anniversaries, weddings, collector's evenings, or as a sophisticated gift for business partners. A gift that conveys appreciation, prestige, and personality. You can find further inspiration from Russian silver art in our Table Silver & Silverware collection.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
Individual engravings are possible upon review. Upon request, we can also design a personal SilberVerse card in 15 × 10 cm photo format to complement this gift — created for you individually and free of charge.
Care
Clean the set only by gentle hand washing; no dishwasher. A soft silver polishing cloth is suitable for occasional refreshing. You should avoid aggressive polishing agents so that the niello and gold plating retain their luster.
