Material and craftsmanship
The saucer is made of 925 sterling silver and features gilding, which gives the piece a warmer tone than bare, ungilded silver. The niello ornament on the edge is created by melting a dark alloy into finely engraved recesses – a technique that forms a permanent chemical-physical bond with the silver and gains contrast over time rather than fading. The floral imagery of the Astra Classic line is presented here in a smaller format distributed along the edge, while the center of the saucer remains deliberately clear and polished.

Soft cloths without abrasive agents and dry, light-protected storage will best preserve the shine.
