Caviar bowl gift set 925 silver and Niello 3-piece incl. engraving

This three-piece set made of 925 sterling silver combines a caviar bowl, an ice bowl, and a caviar spatula under a shared niello ornamental band of rosettes and leaf tendrils. Highly polished silver inside and out meets deep black niello as a circumferential band — and an engraving is already included with this set, making each piece an immediate personalized gift.

Material and craftsmanship

All three pieces are made of solid 925 sterling silver and feature the same botanical-floral niello ornamental band of rosettes and leaf tendrils — surrounding the wall of the caviar bowl, in the same style on the ice bowl, and repeated on the handle of the caviar spatula. Niello is a black inlay that is fused into the engraved lines, sanded flat, and polished — like ink in silver. The result is not a print or a layer of paint, but part of the metal itself — a motif that does not fade over time, but gains contrast with polishing. The set is crafted by SevChern in Veliky Ustyug, where the art of niello has been documented since 1683.

Usage and occasions

The set works in a classic combination: the small caviar bowl sits inside the large ice bowl, the ice keeps the caviar cool, and the spatula is used for gentle serving. As a gift, this three-piece set is particularly suitable for weddings, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, retirement, or as an extraordinary business gift — the included engraving makes it a piece that clearly belongs to a specific person and a specific moment.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

The engraving is already included with this set — no extra charge, no separate request necessary: a name, a date, a monogram, or a family crest on one or more pieces. Contact us before ordering so we can coordinate the placement and execution together. If you wish, you can also supplement the gift with a personal SilberVerse card in photo format (15 × 10 cm landscape) — individually designed and free of charge.

Care

Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap; a soft cloth is sufficient for drying. No dishwasher, no aggressive cleaning agents, no silver dip. The natural tarnish layer on the silver surface can be removed with a silver polishing cloth. The niello is resistant to normal care — its color and depth will not change.
