925 Sterling Silver Baby Cup Medallion Bear — two handles

Two small handles make this 925 sterling silver baby cup a drinking vessel that sits firmly in a child's hands. On the front, a teddy bear is centered in a round, finely grained medallion with a beaded rim – a calm, warm motif that makes the cup more than just a beaker. It belongs to the Medallion Bear family and finds its natural counterpart in the matching children's spoon with the same motif.

Motif and Craftsmanship

The teddy bear sits in the center of the medallion, surrounded by a fine beaded rim – a classic setting that makes the motif appear like a small piece of jewelry. The cup itself is highly polished and reflects light beautifully; the two curved handles are positioned on the sides, providing a secure grip even for small hands. It is crafted by Russkiye Samotsvety, a manufactory in St. Petersburg with long experience in silversmithing for children's silver – we at SilberKosmos curate this piece from their range.

For whom and for what occasion

For a birth, this cup is a generous welcome gift; for a christening, the teddy as a quiet protector fits perfectly with the moment when family and godparents take responsibility for the child. It is also a beautiful choice for a first birthday or as a godparent's gift. As a motif, the teddy bear is gender-neutral and therefore suitable for both girls and boys alike – a gift that often remains in the display cabinet for generations in many families.

Engraving and SilberVerse Card

We best discuss directly with you how much smooth surface area remains next to the medallion for an engraving – please contact us via our engraving service. Apart from that, this cup comes with a SilberVerse card: a 15 × 10 cm landscape-format photo with a verse that we compose specifically for a christening or birth, available upon request at no extra cost, with no expiration date. More details on our SilberVerse page.

Care

For cleaning, warm water and a mild detergent applied by hand are sufficient; the dishwasher is not suitable for this cup. If the silver darkens over time, a soft silver polishing cloth will restore its shine. Dry the cup afterwards to prevent water spots, and store it in its gift packaging when not in use.
