Special properties of products
Description
The Mischka bear is also available as a standalone cup: a sculptural relief on the side, a curved handle, and around 93 grams of solid 925 sterling silver without enamel or gold plating. This is the exact same cup included in the two larger Mischka sets.
For a Christening
The cup on its own
If you have already given a spoon as a gift or are specifically looking for just the cup, you will find the perfect individual piece from the Mischka family here.
View christening giftsMotif: the bear as a relief on the cup wall
The seated bear rises sculpturally from the wall of the cup: a round head, compact body, and arms angled slightly to the side. The handle sweeps downward from the upper rim in a graceful curve. No color or gold plating interrupts the surface—here, the bear carries this cup alone, without a spoon or plate by its side.
Material and craftsmanship
Weighing around 93 grams, this solid 925 sterling silver cup has a satisfying heft. Polished and crafted without enamel or gold plating, the pure surface allows the figure of the bear to stand out. It is made by ArgentA, the same Russian manufacturer behind the entire Mischka family.
The Mischka family compared
The same cup with the bear relief is also available in a gift set with a spoon and a three-piece set with a plate. If you are looking for a simple, fluted cup without the bear motif, you will find it in the set with fluted cup. Those who prefer the bear with color and a crown will find it in the related Honey Bear line, featured on items such as the Honey Bear children's spoon.
Occasions and target groups
Because the bear design is gender-neutral, this cup is a safe choice if the sex of the child is not yet known or if several children in a family are to receive a matching gift. Whether as a christening gift, a gift for a birth, or for a first birthday, it works as an individual piece that can be supplemented at any time with a matching spoon from the family collection.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
ArgentA will clarify for you whether the back of the cup can be engraved—for thin-walled cups like this one, the decision is generally up to the manufacturer. Simply add the engraving service fee to your cart, and we will coordinate the placement and text with you afterward. If you would prefer to forgo the engraving, we can add a SilberVerse card, a 15 x 10 cm photo, to your gift free of charge upon request.
Care
Clean the cup after use with lukewarm water and mild dish soap, then dry it with a soft cloth. For patina, use a silver polishing cloth to gently restore the shine to the bear figure. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents and the dishwasher. Between uses, it is best to store the cup in the included gift box.
