This personal baptism set from SilberKosmos unites two individual Zaramella pieces featuring the same motif: the rattle with a stem, featuring a seated teddy and a smooth handle, and the matching birth spoon with a clock face, clouds, and a teddy at the end of the stem. Both pieces are made of 925 sterling silver and each features its own engraving area—the rattle bears a name, and the spoon bears a birth date on the back of its stem.

Material and Shape

The head of the rattle features the teddy in full relief: it sits upright, wears a bowtie, and its paws rest close to its rounded body. Below this, the handle is completely smooth and ends in a teardrop shape; it measures approximately 13 cm in length and weighs about 20 g. At the top of its stem, the birth spoon features a round clock face next to a small teddy figure, with several clouds trailing down the stem; its oval bowl remains high-polished, and the weight is approximately 28 g. In total, the baptism set weighs about 48 g—both pieces come from the Italian silversmith Zaramella.

The set can be cleaned with lukewarm water and a drop of mild detergent; afterward, dry both pieces with a soft cloth. A silver polishing cloth used with even, gentle pressure helps around the engraving. Do not use abrasive cleaners or a dishwasher on either piece. Like any rattle, this should only be used by children under supervision.
