Baby rattle 925 silver Sitting Teddy — decorated handle shape

This seated teddy in 925 sterling silver looks as if it has been brought straight from a nursery into silver: it sits upright with its legs stretched forward, round ears, and a gently shaped snout. It wears a small silver bow tie at its neck. The handle below features fine vertical grooves and ends in a delicate bow at the bottom.

Material and Craftsmanship

The teddy is a fully sculpted figure sitting on the head of the rattle, with a round tummy, small paws, and a bow tie at the neck. The entire handle features continuous vertical grooves, with a small silver bow completing the grip at the bottom end. The rattle is made by Zaramella in Italy, including the polish and relief work.

In Everyday Life

With its size and curvature, the figure fits well into small hands. The grooves on the handle and the small bow offer varied stimuli for touch, while the bear head at the top invites observation and exploration. As with any baby toy: only under parental supervision.

Engraving and SilberVerse Card

The grooves and the bow run along the entire length of the handle, leaving no smooth surface for an engraving. Those who still wish for a personal touch can receive the complimentary SilberVerse card on request: a verse of three to four lines, created with the help of AI from your details about the occasion and the child's name, in the language you want, printed as a 15 × 10 cm photo card in landscape format. You choose the standard frame: black, silver or white. We explain everything else on our About SilberVerse page.

The Siblings of the Seated Teddy

If you prefer an engraving on the handle, you can find the same seated teddy with a smooth, teardrop-shaped handle in the Baby Rattle Seated Teddy, Smooth Handle, Engravable. This collection also includes the Birth Spoon with Teddy Bear and Birth Clock featuring a clock face at the end of the handle. Those who would like a teething ring can also find the same bear as a Teething Rattle Seated Teddy.

Care

To clean, hand-warm water with a drop of dish soap is sufficient; afterwards, dry the figure with a soft cloth. A soft toothbrush helps remove soap residue from the grooves of the handle. Please keep this piece out of the dishwasher.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this rattle be engraved?
No, the grooves and the bow cover the entire length of the handle, leaving no empty space for text. The sister rattle with a smooth handle is suitable for engraving.

For a birth or a christening?
Both suit: the teddy is a gift for a birth and just as much a godparent gift for a christening. When the child reaches for it, an adult stays close by.

What does the teddy motif represent?
The bear is one of the oldest comforting figures of childhood and stands for closeness and a sense of security.

Is the motif also available with an engraving?
Yes, the smooth handle version of the same figure can be engraved, as can the matching birth spoon.

How is the rattle delivered?
In a gift box, ready to hand over; its appearance may vary.

Is the decorated teddy handle rattle made of hallmarked silver?
The silver is hallmarked — the decorated teddy handle rattle bears a fineness stamp (hallmark). The piece comes with the maker's certificate card. On request, we'll send you photos in advance.
