Material and workmanship

The holder is made entirely of 925 sterling silver, high-polish. The outside shows horizontally running lines that become increasingly dense towards the bottom: at the top, the silver remains light and reflects light strongly, while towards the bottom, an optical gradient is created towards a denser, darker-looking band. This is pure graphic language, no animal motif, no heraldry, no floral ornamentation. The lines are engraved, thus materially worked into the silver, not printed, so that they do not wear out. At the bottom right, a square, smooth field is left out, which we use as a proofing area for the engraving. Compared to business card holders made of aluminum or silver-plated material, this holder is made entirely of solid sterling silver, heavier and more valuable in hand.

Use and occasions

With 95 x 55 x 4 mm, the Linea is the slimmest model in its series and weighs approx. 63 grams, compact enough for the inner jacket pocket or the blazer's chest pocket. It holds 8 to 12 standard business cards, designed for the typical daily capacity in business life, not for a large bundle of cards. The design is gender-neutral and suits a promotion, retirement, a mentor or business partner gift, as well as international business contacts, where a clear graphic language without local symbolism is required.

Care

Silver tarnishes over time in everyday use, a natural reaction with sulfur compounds from the air, not a defect. With a high-polish holder like this, it is visible after a few months as a light yellow to gray tone. With a soft silver polishing cloth, the original high shine is back in one to two minutes. Store dry, preferably in the included gift box. No dishwasher, no abrasive sponge, no direct contact with perfume or skin cream.
