Baby spoon 925 silver rabbit with heart and stars — blackened
Bunny with a ribbon, hearts and stars
Description
When does a spoon become a little friend? Perhaps when there is a rabbit sitting on top, long ears perked up, with a bow beneath its paws. This 925 sterling silver baby spoon features the rabbit as a 3D figure. Hearts and stars alternate down the handle like a chain, and the depths of the relief are blackened.
For a birth

Silver gifts for a birth, from spoons to rattles.
Gifts for a birthRabbit, bow, and a chain of hearts and stars
The figure sits upright at the end of the handle, followed immediately by a bow. After that, hearts and stars run down the entire handle, raised enough to be traced with a finger. The bowl features small tactile dots. Length 113 mm, weight approx. 15 g; the oxidation deepens the relief and allows the rabbit to stand out in high contrast against the polished silver.
Birth, Easter, first tooth
For a birth, the rabbit spoon is an obvious gift. At Easter, it can be a gift for the first baby in the house whose basket contains more than just chocolate; you can find suitable ideas under Easter gifts. And when the first tooth breaks through, an individual spoon is a lovely occasion for giving a gift.
In many Easter traditions, the rabbit represents spring and new beginnings, the heart represents affection, and the star represents a wish. This is an interpretation of the motifs, not a quality that is bestowed upon a child.
Why there is no engraving here
The rabbit figure and relief adorn the handle, so engraving is not possible here. The spoon can be personalized upon request with a free SilberVerse card, a verse printed on photo paper. Names and dates in silver are available in our birth spoons collection.
If you prefer something more golden: Rabbit with a gold-plated bow. Those who would rather have an angel on the handle will find it in our blackened angel with moon and stars.
All about the blackened rabbit
What can you give for a christening?
Something that lasts and grows up with the child. A silver spoon with a rabbit suits a christening as well as a birth. More ideas can be found among the christening gifts.
Is there an option for engraving here?
Unfortunately not, because the figure and relief adorn the handle. An alternative is the free SilberVerse card; for name engravings, please see our birth spoons.
How does this spoon differ from the rabbit with gold?
On this model, the depths are blackened, while the partially gold-plated rabbit has gold on the bow, stars, and some of the hearts. Dimensions and shape are the same.
How do I care for the spoon?
Wash by hand with lukewarm water and rub dry with a soft cloth. Use polishing paste sparingly on smooth surfaces only, to ensure the oxidation in the relief remains intact.
What other baby spoons are available?
An overview can be found under silver baby spoons.
