Christening Set Our Lady of Kazan in Pink — Icon and Engravable Spoon

An icon on pink velvet and a spoon that is used. The christening set Our Lady of Kazan in pink consists of the padded icon and a spoon with a guardian angel, both in a gift box. You give it for a christening, and you have the spoon engraved with a first name.

Christening set Our Lady of Kazan in pink: icon and guardian angel spoon

Two things lie in the box: an icon to hang and a spoon to use. The icon shows the Mother of God of Kazan with the Child, mounted on a cushion of pink velvet. The spoon carries a guardian angel at its head.

That way the christening gift stays visible for a long time: the icon can be hung in the room, and the spoon goes on the table.

The icon: velvet, cord and satin ribbon

The icon has the shape of an arch. The cushion of the icon is covered with pink velvet, and a pink cord edges the border. At the top sits a pink satin ribbon as a loop for hanging, and a second ribbon hangs at the bottom.

The picture field shows the faces in warm colours, and frame and halo are set off in gold and silver colours. In the picture field at the bottom stands the inscription in Cyrillic script.

The spoon: angel on the handle, raspberry-red enamel

At the head of the spoon sits a round medallion with an angel and an inscription, with a silver crown above. The two handle blocks carry raspberry-red enamel and silver scrollwork. The bowl itself is smooth.

The spoon is made by ArgentA and consists of 925 silver. It is approx. 11.3 cm long, approx. 2.5 cm wide and weighs approx. 13 g.

Engraving on the spoon: a first name

The text goes on the back of the handle, under the medallion. There, 10 to 12 characters have room, enough for a first name. The icon itself is not engraved.

For the spoon, one flat fee from the engraving service goes into the cart together with the set. The first name belongs in the order note at checkout, which you fill in before paying. After your order, we check whether the wish can be done. If not, we refund the flat fee to you.

On request, there is also a SilberVerse, free of charge: a verse, created individually to suit the occasion and name, on a photo card of 15 × 10 cm.

Care of the spoon

The spoon likes lukewarm water and a soft cloth best. It does not go in the dishwasher. A silver polishing cloth does no harm, and over the raspberry-red enamel on the handle you simply go gently.
