Material and craftsmanship
The rim of this plate is not simply round, but scalloped and slightly indented at four points – each indentation features its own floral niello ornament, framed by fine surrounding lines. Niello is a black inlay that is melted into engraved lines, sanded flush, and polished – like ink in silver – not a coating that could peel off. The center of the plate remains high-polished and free of ornaments: a calm surface that focuses attention on what is served, while the rim provides an artful frame.
Use and occasions
With a diameter of 181 mm, the piece is ideal for desserts, fruit, or as a stylish table decoration. It is a fitting gift for weddings, anniversaries, business partners, or as a family heirloom to be passed down through generations. Also as a christening or birthday gift with a personal engraving, the plate becomes a lasting memory. For those with a sense of aesthetics, for collectors of exclusive silverware, and for hosts who love to give gifts with meaning.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
An engraving is possible upon review – for example, a monogram, initials, or a personal symbol. Upon request, we will include a personalized SilberVerse card in photo format (15 × 10 cm) – individually designed to suit the occasion and free of charge.
Care
Clean the plate only by hand, without aggressive cleaning agents. A silver polishing cloth is ideal for the polished surfaces. After use, dry with a soft cloth and store in a dry place. Avoid prolonged contact with citric acid or vinegar directly on the silver surface.
